Use case

Ad creatives from salon clients

After the appointment is closed, the client gets an SMS or an email with a link and records about 20 seconds about the service they used. The code for the next visit pays for a licence to the recording, not for praise. The video stays with you until you approve it.

An SMS after a Booksy or Versum visit

When you mark the appointment finished in Booksy or Versum, send the link within one to two hours. The client is still on the way home and remembers what happened in the chair: colour, a cut, nails, a treatment. An evening email makes sense only if the afternoon SMS did not lead to a recording. A second message the same day is unnecessary once the first one has gone.

Zaply does not connect to Booksy or Versum. You paste your company's recording address into the message those tools can already send. Reception can also show a QR code at payment, before the client leaves. A shop integration is not required.

Send the link when the appointment is closed, not on the morning of the visit and not during the treatment.

Example SMS from Booksy or Versum

This is Studio Lumen. Your 14:30 appointment is closed. If you want, record about 20 seconds in the browser, with no app: https://zaply.me/r/studio-lumen. The code for the next visit pays for a licence to the recording and is still due if we do not show the video.

Three prompts for the client

You tick up to three catalog prompts. You cannot paste your own sentence. Choose ones that ask about the service and what the client noticed, not for a verdict. Do not ask about health, allergies, a diagnosis, or medicines. The sensitive-data line always stays on screen.

If a recording contains that kind of data, delete it. The prompt does not ask whether the client recommends the salon, what they liked most, or why they chose this studio. Do not ask for a full name. The lines below show the direction. The phone shows the catalog text.

  • Say which service you had and how long the visit took.
  • Describe what you noticed afterward: colour, length, skin, or the haircut.
  • Add one detail from the visit: a product, a tool, or the order of the steps.

A discount that fits a salon

Salons often use 15% off the next service, or a fixed amount off a visit above a threshold you set. You create the code and decide whether it goes out right after the upload or after approval.

The discount does not depend on whether the video is complimentary, and it does not depend on whether you publish it. Do not give the code only to people who said they were pleased in the chair. The invite goes to the clients you message after the visit, without sorting by the tone you expect.

Where the video goes

Place 16:9 on the service page next to the price list, as one recording. A 4:5 Meta ad runs only with ads consent. Social-only consent still allows Reels and does not cover a paid campaign.

A Google Maps profile and an Instagram story are places you upload to yourself. Zaply does not publish into Booksy, Versum, or Maps. You approve the recording in the dashboard first. The optional “Advertising material” bar sits at the bottom of the frame for the first 3 seconds of new edits if you leave that option on.

  • The service page, next to the price list.
  • Reels and TikTok in 9:16, including under social-only consent.
  • A Meta ad only with ads consent.
  • The Google Maps listing, uploaded by the salon.

Likeness and questions you do not ask

Before the camera the client accepts Zaply's terms. If you add a link to the salon's own terms, that checkbox appears too. Then they choose a usage scope. Without acceptance the file does not reach the dashboard. The person recording confirms they are at least 18. You do not collect a minor's recording with this link. A child's likeness needs a guardian's consent outside this page.

You have no duty to show every video. You must not present the selection as the complete set of reviews.

Example frame

This is an illustration, not a client's recording. The sample captions read “I had colour and a cut” and “The visit took about two hours”. The card has room for the salon logo. A real file comes from a browser recording, after editing and your approval.

Questions from salons

Does Zaply connect to Booksy or Versum?

No. After you close the visit you send the SMS or email from those tools and paste the recording link. Reception can also show a QR code at payment. There is no separate calendar connection.

Can I ask about a health result of the treatment?

No. The prompt should cover the service the client can see: colour, length, a haircut, skin in an ordinary description. Do not ask about a diagnosis, allergies, or medicines. If that data lands in a recording, delete the file.

When does the code for the next visit go out?

When you set it to: right after the upload, or after your approval. The code pays for the licence. It is still due when you do not publish the video and when the description is not complimentary.

Does a Reel require ads consent?

No. Reels, Shorts, and TikTok also fit the social-only scope. A paid ad requires the scope that includes ads. You still approve the specific recording before it is published.

Does the client have to show their face?

No. They can show the result and talk, without a face in the frame.
